Industrial music Meets Addiction Recovery Like Glue

November 1st, 2009

Industrial rock music has always been darker, more negative, but that is beginning to change. There is this sick synth-rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren that has a fresh angle on alternative rock. His new CD is a mix of electro-rock and the concept of overcoming addiction.

There are some songs at his website at www.returnfrombroken.com. It looks like the songs are raw versions in lou of official tracks. They sound high quality to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to find more industrial rock like this written specifically for addiction help in a more aggressive way from someone that has had the experience and is making an impact for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to have this type of synth-rock coming from the industrial scene which is typically more negative in nature.

By the way, he has free tracks you can get from his website and more in his back extras page which is no charge. I also saw discount passes, wallpaper, and other downloads. It will be nice to hear the album once it is available.
